My Wallis ancestors hail from Overseal in South Derbyshire, as well as Appleby Magna.
I haven't researched this side so far.

My paternal grandmother was Florence Sarah Wallis, known as Sarah, born in Gorsey Leys in 1906.

Her parents were George S Wallis born in Appleby Magna in c1879 and Agnes Clamp born in Donisthorpe in 1881.
